Interdisciplinary Literary and Media Interaction Research (LIR) will be implemented and further developed in the context of another EU-project which has been granted for 2009-2011: "Narrative cultural and media interaction as means of understanding and preventing adolescent violence and political/religious extremism". This project applies the LIR standard research design to studying various high-risk populations of adolescents and their particular patterns of media interaction especially those adolescents who are prone to violent behaviour and extremist political and religious ideologies.
